Project Story
01 / Challenge
The commercial stage needed a durable hardwood surface and full-length steps that could function as a clear, finished architectural element. The stair faces, nosing, and broad horizontal runs all needed consistent alignment.
02 / Approach
Noble installed the hardwood stage surface, built the full-length stair treads and risers, and finished the connected components as one assembly. The work emphasized straight layout, clean edges, and a finish plan suited to repeated use.
03 / Result
The completed Lenexa stage and steps create a cohesive hardwood feature with a strong visual line across the full width of the installation and a practical transition between levels.
Planning Note
A full-width stage and stair assembly depends on disciplined layout because small inconsistencies become more visible across long horizontal runs. Planning the stage surface, tread depth, riser faces, nosing, edges, and finish as a single architectural feature helped keep the completed Lenexa installation visually ordered and ready for repeated use. It also kept the transition between the stage and surrounding floor easy to understand from the audience area.
